Charleston, SC – The HOSA Student Leadership Conference and Competition took place in Charleston, South Carolina, from March 5-7, bringing together aspiring healthcare professionals from across the state. Among the competitors were five juniors from Daniel High School—Jordan McLane, Addie Nebesky, Malak Mohammed, Chloe Prosser, and Melanie McKinnon—who represented the Pickens County Career and Technology Center in the Public Service Announcement event.
The team focused on the crucial topic of "Brain Health and Prevention of Alzheimer’s Disease." Their efforts paid off as they secured 4th place in the competition, earning well-deserved recognition on stage during the awards ceremony.
